Been following a crazy routine (woke up at 330am, broke my all time record. Glory to glory manxzzszz). Managing crazy papers, which by the way- a big question mark. Cramping crazy informations into my head probably a day before so that I can remember and memorise, though studying shouldn't be memorizng, but being a Singaporean kid (yours truly) has adopted the way of memorizing as much information as possible.

Especially ITB- IT in Business. The most sickening module ever. You can't possibly understand, so you have to MEMORIZE, BLINDLY. Talk about the computer hardwares softwares or whatnots. spare me.

Once again, I have to showcase my artistic talents [: was trying to explain to Edision why single/double loaded slab required less space as compared to circular towers. So i conveniently drew a rectangle and a circle as a representation of the structures. Thinking it'd help, but...

He thought i drew a balance board. Even bin, who was sitting next to me thought i drew a balance board.

Sigh, That's a building structure! the floor plan! Is my drawing that....that... pathetic? HAHAHA.

Can't help it, my creativity/ artistic talent is way too profound for any normal being to understand. I shall appreciate it myself [: Look out for Mad's wedding guestbook. There're some masterpieces which I'd contributed yeah (urm, yes- colouring. But hey, I'm contributing bit of my oh-so-profound creativity into that guestbook alright) Just that Mad thinks I've bad sense of colours matching, after I've "destroyed" one of her pictures, but that's fine I guess [: because she has warned me to ask her/hwa for opinions before colouring. So rest assure, the rest of the pictures will be properly coloured. HAHAHA.

Anyways, I've discovered something new today! Ever since HOM practical test, I've always wondered by registration card is called a "VEG" card (cuz it sounded like it). Until i asked bin about it, she told me it's a "REG" card- registration card in short. No wonder I kept wondering why a form is called vegetable.

Recently, there's an influx (haha, overstatement i guess) of western stalls in Bukit Timah Market. Just one two months back, a new pasta stall had its opening. Today, my mum bought back pizza for me from this new western stall, which i heard- sells pasta too!

Probably they have seen how MIEN prospered in the past few years, being the pioneer pasta stall in the market, domineering the market for the past few years.

Don't get me wrong, MIEN sell great pasta which can't even be compared to Pasta Mania. Absolutely love their pasta. Can you imagine this: My parents, who never love pasta, actually patronise this shop 3 times a week in the past. Not forgetting that their pasta is very economical. A plate of pasta cost around $4.90, while with soup at $5.40.

Somehow, I guess people love novelty. People flocked to the new stall for pasta. As a consumer myself, it doesn't harm for me to try out new stuffs. The pasta from the new stall is yeah, not bad. Rather nice. Different in it's own way and yep. A little more costly than MIEN, but guess it's worth the money.

So right now, there's always a struggle which stall to choose when purchasing my lunch. Opportunity cost yeah. ha

Now, there's ANOTHER new pasta stall, with great variety i supposed, since they sell pizza 0_0 Haven't exactly visited the stall, but definitely looking forward to it.

To add on, these pasta stall owners seem quite educated. Yknow, the owner of MIEN used to be a pilot (earn big bucks yo) and he couldn't exactly speak Chinese. The new pasta stall is owned by two friendly youngsters, who look like they are only 2o odd years old? They converse well in English and I must say I was quite impress with their service attitudes. It's almost equivalent to dining in a cafe.

So probably one day, I may open a pasta shop of my own. But i think I'll die calculating those markup prices, contribution margin pricing, prime cost prices and whatnots. And ha, it's tough competition out there. But well, at least I'm putting good use of what I've studied in FABM (Food and beverage Management) into my job.

At this era, i guess no one bother whether it's underemployment not. As long as you can earn big bucks, who cares whether you're underemployed.

It's always very comforting to stay behind for dinner at Makan Place. The vendors there are the nicest people around. The vendors from "One Pot" still prepared dinner for us although they were about to close for the day. The nice cleaner chased us out only 45 mins after their supposed closing time as they let us to have our dinner.

What else can you wish for? They're such nice people.

And of course, we'll always be the last group to leave Makan Place.

Sorry, I'm definitely high on sugar, especially the high sugar intake during lunch today! Went Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie for desserts [: Had Exotique ( Flambéed caramelized banana, chocolate sauce, passionfruit banana sorbet, vanilla tuile and vanilla crème chantilly), the pretty yet expensive but tasty macarons which Chiayin treated us (LOVE YOU!), vanilla meringue and some mushroom soup.

One day, I'll definitely return to Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie, when money starts rolling in once again. The macarons was awesome ttm. It's v.v.v.v.v..v.v.v.v.v.v.v.v nice. Fetish for macarons. Oh! loves.

Pretty glad that our HOM proj got an awesome A [: Thanks guys. You guys are the bombxz, Attempted to upload the video up to my blog, but it seems like it's taking longer than usual. I will, most probably when i have the time.

Didn't exactly update for whole week, probably I was busy with work (well yeah, if you take it as an excuse) or let's just put it this way: Nothing exciting happened, and I had a lot of thoughts. Distractions probably.

Quite caught up with some stuffs recently. But as this week passed, I've learnt to focus on other things instead. For the past few weeks, I've been too caught up, or rather, very caught up with things. Things which put me down, things which were heavy, things which i don't understand. Disappointed, angsty. Though it had happened quite a while back, it still hit me quite badly.

But i realised i had been focusing on the wrong things. Self-centeredness; too caught up with my own problems and thoughts.

Yknow, focus is such a powerful tool. Robb Thompson always emphasizes it in the emails we receive- Whatever Captures Your Focus Controls Your Life. Whatever we are focusing on, it controls almost the bulk of our lifes. Throughout this week, I've finally understood the true meaning of it. Because it gets quite frustrating to be revolving the same thing and never got out of it.

So I've decided to focus on God instead.

I'm not too sure how it's going to be like. It has been dry for quite sometime and it takes time, I'm sure. But I'm really thankful for the PMs this week- it had been rewarding. No starbucks vouchers (haha, because didn't manage to attend all 5 sessions, and partly lazy to queue to get my stamp stamped onto my book at RW) but I've got something better out of it.

Just when there're one thousand and one prayer items and ten thousands and one problems, there's only one God I'd look upon to.

It's a brand new step. Seems like starting over once again...

Interesting. I'm actually blogging about this. I wonder if I'll simply put it to "save now" mode after a few hours. Oh wells, let's see how it goes.

I foresee I won't start any revision till tomorrow, since I'm going out in half an hour's time to book the studio for my piano exam pre-trial (whatever you call that). Yeah, all the way to Kovan. All my piano exam location are increasingly getting further away from my place.

Today's sermon was on Marriage and relationship. Totally interesting and -humpsuplook- annoying i guess. With the humpsup partner sitting next to me, how much more can i ask for? Especially when this person has the exact same personality type whom I can "get along" with very well. shivers.

With all the ~~harassments~~ and caressing [: Adding the units to lovebank! HAHAHAHAH.

And i think I've got too much of the sermon today. Too much I guess :/

We were inside the train cabin, when i saw this character popped out of his phone.

Can you feel the joy in the atmosphere? The projects are all over [: Today marks the end of our tonless of projects in this semester. When we thought the battle was over when we handed in the reports, our nightmare for all the presentations had just started.

IAC was... Met at 10am to complete our incompleted slides and videos, which was like, HAHAHAHA. Especially when xijing sent me the files till 3.45am today, so you get my point. It's super eggciting, because we were really pressing for time. Yknow, could hardly breathe when the time drew nearer. And all of us were chickssxzzing. HAHA.

ZOMG, MY GROUP MEMBERS ARE THE BOMBXZZZ. I love love love you guys [: Sigh, remember the meetings at my house (and you guys had a big feast during our FIRST meeting) to rushing the reports at underpass to editing the report to only 5 pages to consulting Ms Ho to cutting cardboards at library rooms to coming to my house zillion times to complete the props to me chasing you guys out of my house because i had to go for church to cooking instant noodles for you guys before presentation

Goodness me.

And i thought you guys did great! I don't know how to explain it but it's awesome ttm. Definitely one of the presentations which I'll always remember. Though I've heard of very good comments from many other coursemates about our presentation yesterday, I guess the process is much more interesting and memorable. Yes, that 10 minutes on stage was kind of surreal; the efforts which each and everyone of you had put in was amazing.

This post is quite redundant, but since I was reading about tweety bird in wikipedia (So i can reply the tags with wisdom), I've decided to share something about tweety bird.

Tweety bird is (and get ready for this) A MALE!!!!!!!! For the past 17 going 18 years of my life, I've always thought tweety bird is a FEMALE!!!! Imagine, when I was young, i was actually hugging a MALE tweety bird. Cheated my FWEELING.

5 minutes ago, I told my brother about my discovery, and he actually knew tweety is a MALE.

I feel....dumb.

Kelvin was asking me about childhood cartoon characters last Saturday. Yknow, the thing was- I could only remember tweety bird, because i really really love tweety bird when i was young. But once again, i was stumped when he asked me about tweety bird's good friend. Sigh.

But this banana thing was etched in my mind for as long as i could remember that night. It's like URM, there's banana in pyjamas? But was caught speechless, because i couldn't exactly their names, and to save myself from embarrassement.

Well, was surfing around facebook the other day, and there was this advertisement at the side bar- prompting " Be A Fan of Bananas in Pyjamas!" Ah, right. That was it. I felt so proud of myself- they are called B1 AND B2! [: -beams.

Am I worrying unduly? but goodness me, Piano exam is in March, and I have a cruise in mid-march. Zomg, it's like.... please don't let it crash. Stress level is like highest ttm- i mean, for the exam, not the dates.

Anyways, gave up on OD-ing the cold tablets for three days. Decided to skip school to visit our family doctor. The visit was a very short one. In fact, I was in the room for less than 3 minutes? Hmm, alright- i mean it's a flu, and I've caught the flu bug. And after enquiring about my illness, the doctor scribbled some notes, asked if i need a MC and off i go to collect my medicine.

I thought there was not much medicine, since i was in the room for less than 3 minutes. Probably the normal green tablets and uh, some cough medicine. But guess what.

One bottle of cough-en linctus, antibiotics, Danzen tablets for phlegm, Febricol for flu and fever (the normal green tablets i was referring to above)

The cough-en linctus was a new type of syrup. Have never seen it before. and manxz, you should see what it relieves:

-Dry irritating cough
-Running Nose
-Sneezing
-Stuffy Nose
-Itchy & watery eyes

It's like a 5-in-1 syrup. Medicine nowadays...I remember having to drink two different syrups for cough and running nose respectively. But now it's like 5-in-1. One for all and all for one.

So went back home, had lunch. Contemplated to consume the medicine after my lunch, but FOR FEAR that I would become drowsy during piano lesson, i decided not to consume any until class ends.

But my cough worsen and felt terrible, so i consumed it anyways (just 1 hour before class started). But constantly reminded myself NOT TO CONSUME ANY Drowsy medicine.

So i drank the Cough-en Linctus and all tablets except the flu medicine (since it'd, I'm sure, make me sleepy) I was intrigued by the size of the bottle of COUGH-en linctus syrup. quite pretty. Was looking at the chemicals inside this bottle- and all are acid. I drank a full 10ml, could almost feel like I'm drinking acid.

After all, it's a COUGH syrup. Wouldn't make me drowsy, right?

As i was putting the bottle back into the box, i saw a paper lying on the table. The same paper which i had taken out of the box and conveniently placed on the table. Normally, i would never pick it up and read it, but somehow it just caught my attention. I want to know more about this COUGH-EN linctus. So i unfolded the paper, and the first thing i saw was:

Cough-en Linctus may cause drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.

Nearly fainted on the spot. Much as i thought it was a COUGH syrup, i have clearly forgotten that it's for flu and running nose as well. Felt like I've just drank poison.

And the effects took place almost immediately. Felt tired and weak, climbed onto the sofa (hoping to take a 15 mins nap) which later became an hour nap. Lesson started, and i felt i could die. My whole body was so weak i could hardly press the keys on the piano and lost control of my fingers. It's like zomgiwanttodie. Could hardly stand up straight. Legs were so wobbly, i couldn't exactly press the pedal properly.

Insomnia? Drink this manxzz, can definitely sleep till the next day.

The effects are starting to wear off now. Could feel I'm getting back the strength, and not before long, I'm going to consume this again before i go to sleep.

Lesson learnt: Please read the labels properly before consumption. It can be fatal.

Mel, i could totally understand how you feel. I've underestimated the power of rumours in SA.

This morning, i received a sms from Brenda, asking me if I was going over to SA. Initially, i thought she sent the wrong message. Guess what?

It seems like the rumour of me joining the 2009 J1 cohort is spreading like wild fire.

totally had a good laugh over it when i told huimin and xijing during LMS class, before we started to debate whether we should have gone over to JC.

BUT NO! I'M NOT GOING OVER TO SA. NEVER. HAHAHAHA. I'll kill myself if I ever do because I JUST completed the million pages (right, I'm exaggerating) of reports and presentations. And i still have three more presentations to go next week! and final final final final final exams in 2 weeks time!

Seriously. HAHAHA.

Recently, someone told me that that it was their first time running towards blk 72 to hand in their assignments.

Today, it was our turn. Imagine, we brisk walked/ ran to school from my house to blk 72 (15 mins journey) with all our big/medium/small bags and laptops.

Yesterday felt like a Sunday to me. Woke up, felt the Sunday vibe- it didn't feel like a CNY. Went to my mum's side and relatives couldn't recognize me- with MORE THAN A FEW thinking I'm bro's GF.

And most probably, I'm going to boycott today and do all my assignments and presentation preparations (rawr, presentation right after CNY). Before that, shall keep myself busy making the Oreo cheesecake.

Apparently, and unfortunately, it's not open to public. Was helping my brother to filter the ASSESSMENT BOOKS/PAPERS/TEXTBOOKS/NOTES. Seriously, i never realised I DID SO MANY PHYSICS PAPERS. haha, it's disgusting to the max. My brother was highly amused. Seriously, compilation of school papers (given weekly (?)) by Kelvin back in school and the stack of exam papers given by tutor every Sunday. Thankfully i got an...A for physics? Else it'd kill myself. Looking back, zomg. I didn't know I was so hardworking. HAHAHA. My brother was so surprise I did everything. Probably he thought it's not for human to work on, that's why.

I really can't imagine him being a teacher. I'm already complaining each time he bought assessment books from popular. I think that's his FAVOURITE shop of all time.

Physical body was totally crushed after handing in the FABM Proposal. Probably due to the fact that I knew that half the battle is already over. Went home, replied some messages on MSN, targeted at my sofa, lie on it, and bang, couldn't wake up. Afterwhich i think i sleepwalked to my room, and slept on the bed with my glasses on.

I've never felt so tired before. zomg. HAHA. FABM proposal, my baby! The mornings, waking up and staring into the 39 pages long of report. Heart attack whenever the proposal takes super long to load and save. Ah, can't believe it's over. Doing the same old thing again tmr, just that it's...BMGT. zzzz.

Just like half the battle's over, I've only rested like half of it. I still have a long night to go tongiht. If time allows, i really don't mind sleeping for the whole day.

I realised, for the past few years of my life, I've failed to capture these pretty moments although it happens almost everyday.

More so recently, ever since i dragged myself to wake up before the break of dawn to complete what was supposed to be completed, I realised that God has given us a pretty morning to start off with- Just that most of the time, we failed to capture it, because the pace in life is simply too fast. Either we're still sleeping, or we are already in school, mugging in classrooms, or perhaps on the way to school.

But it always freshens me up. Waking up so early (In my definition, that is. Although few would think it's not, cuz they always wake up at this time :/ but haha, lessons normally start at 9/10am, wake up so early for what.), feeling dead tired only after a few hours of nap. Sky's still black, dark. Not knowing what's holding next.

I guess the most miracle part was, the whole sky became multicoloured by 6.45am-6.50am. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. It's not well reflected from the pictures above, but it's really really pretty. Only lasted for a few minutes, before the colours change as the sunlight slowing penetrates.

Only a few mintues. It's either you catch it, or you miss it.

Zomg, the most dreadful day is OVER.

Attempted to wake up at 3.30am to study. I guess, it was SIMPLY impossible, since i KO-ed at 1am (hey, I TRIED to stay up the whole night k- well, at least i thought i could) But told myself to wake up at 3.30am, that i can't sleep, only NAP. But i snoozed my alarm till it couldn't snooze anymore (so you can pretty guess what happened).

Until at 5am, my dad walked into my room, and "asked" me about my computer. I immediately jerked out from my sleep, like a zombie,. It scared the shit out of me, because i remember leaving my computer's main power on, together with my router, and i thought THE HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE (short circuit) AND MY DAD WAS LIKE GOING TO SCREAM AT ME.

i was pretty much in a very stressed mode, as you can see. haha.

And i found my phone at the other end of the bed. I'm really interested to know what i did to my phone. It was supposed to be...beside me, inside this cow tissue holder.

Seconds after recovering from the shock, freshened up and uh, continue with my work before rushing for MAEC (which had like less than 10 people attending it. zzz, made me rush like crazy. haha)

MAEC ended early. Bunch of us went to the toilet to touch up for HOM roleplay. And guess what, I NEARLY made the most serious mistake on earth. I took out my ORANGE marker pen (which i had conveniently left inside my pouch) and thought it was my eyeliner pencil. seriously, fipszxzz ttm. Thank God NOTHING HAPPENED. I managed to discover it- on time.

and our much discussed-fret-over-HOM-role-play. And I was randomly choosen as Front Desk (Complain). When i saw the list, I was shocked for 2 minutes, until Cab and Fion called me over to help me come up with possible scenarios which Ms Ho could test us on. anyways, thanks to cab and fion [: Our group did great [: and yes, it's really time to invest on a blazer. rawrr.

Back home, and did some really last minute revision for macro. The tests was alright, espeically since I just started...only hours ago.

And now, enjoying my one hour plus of rest and freedom, before I'm back to the project feista. HAHA, My rainlender kept popping out "FABM MENU". K, yes. SOON.

It's kind of amazing how i managed to wake up the past few days before the break of dawn. I guess, the last time I woke up at such unearthly hours, was when I was Sec Four- the days when I had to rush my Biology Revision. And i vividly remember i couldn't wake up until Teja smsed me at 4.30am asking me about some stuffs.

It's quite daunting (haha, yes) that whenever my alarm sounded, there'd be a voice within me, prompting me to wake up because i hadn't done this and that. For example, this morning, when my alarm rang, I remember a voice calling out to me "You haven't even started your FABM revision! Damn, wake up!" and this amazing strength just came upon me. But i think i don't like this so-called strength. It's...scary. Probably because it's more of fear, anxiety and stress that's motivating me. Argh, no. Shouldn't be this way.

And guess what, i think this has been cultivated as a habit (amazingly, for just a few days), and i feel dead tired i think i need my bed. I could hardly sustain for the night now. And my body clock is in such a superb mess, I don't know how to organize it.

Or probably, all the due dates hadn't exactly been registered into my head. I feel I'm taking things a little slow.

Attended one of the most rewarding 3hrs of ITB TUTORIAL & WORKSHOP ever since the semester started. We listened in class today, for our Microsoft Access. Amazing.

I obediently followed what Shirren Kaw was teaching... until this part where a box came up

And I continued to click next despite blanking out

After clicking 5, 6 times, I decided to raise the white flag. I proudly exclaimed to the one sitting next to me.

"Eh, i think mine can't work. I can't next it"

And the reply came,

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CLICK FINISH!!!!!!!!!"

And suddenly, my eyes, which were once fixed on the next button, shifted its attention to the finish button next to it.

AHHHHHH, I see.

Looks like it doesn't matter whether I sleep early and wake up early, or otherwise. My brain seems like it doesn't function for 24/7. Sigh.

Yesterday, I was on tenterhooks because my computer sort of crashed. Couldn't open my documents. Couldn't open the files people sent to me. Couldn't open my Mozilla. Everything seemed to be crashing. Seriously, it won't exactly matter to me if my computer crash (BUT TOUCH WOOD) during holidays. Not during this season of my life- where almost all projects are dued next week, all my files are inside. And lastly, not forgetting...

TODAY was my OPREA test. (OPREA is a system where we'd downloaded into our computer. It's a system where we are able to "check in guests" and this test is somewhat like working at the front desk, making reservations and checking the guests in.) ... and yes, we needed our computers, since the programme was downloaded into our computers.

So imagine my anxiety yesterday night. I thought i could die. Yeah, quite rather, i couldn't exactly breathe well last night.

Sigh, technology.

But thank God, by His grace, my IE was still working, and yeah, manage to complete OPREA smoothly (OK, not quite. I mean, i think I'm not suited for front desk. If you don't know me, I'm a KC spider despite reminding myself to stay calm throughout the whole session. Especially during the times it started to lag) But yeah, really luh, IE was working, amazingly. And OPREA test was over.

Down to IT Helpdesk to seek help for all the whatsnot. HAHA, we spent like 2+ hours there [: the thing is, ALL ARE WELL. I can even read my PDF files [: Probably going back there again for my Flash, but all are well [: That nice guy helped me to fix my Mozilla, and now it's the nicer version and i lubdubxzz it. And thanks wenbin! for accompanying me [:

But I totally abhor the fact that computers always crash during the time we needed them the most. Not exactly when I've a test the next day, and requires my computer. But still, thank God for it [: It's just so amazing.

Got a revelation from MAEC (Macroeconomics) lecture today. Lecturer was talking about Monetary Policy, and was touching on Bonds, which led him to I.O.U.

Which makes me wonder, why's I.O.U called I.O.U. Is there an acronym to it? Like (...) I don't know, couldn't figure it out.

Until the point when he STRESSED the word I-O-U, then i realised it's "I Owe You". And i think i exclaimed quite pretty loud? [: At least Fion and Cabrina were staring at me, dumbfounded.

Seriously, I didn't know it till today. Ah, I'm pretty amazing.

My FABM work report, IAC and LMS stacks of papers lay flat in front of me. I'm excited. Tomorrow marks the day three projects will be down. And my FABM work report, from 10 pages to 20 pages- Don't ask me how I did it; I think I'm insane. However, at the same time, I felt I couldn't exactly breathe. Or rather, i really really feel i can't breathe.

Simply no idea how I'm going to survive for the next few days. Not even talking about next week, just the next few days.

But the funny thing is, often we tell ourselves that all these are simply too overwhelming, but ultimately we still conquer it victoriously. -shrugs, idk. After fellowshipping with Mad and SL today, i was determined to get to know more about myself, besides that C-personality which i did years back.

Anyways (HAHA), i did TWO. and GASP.

I've have Obsessive-Compulsion Personality Disorder. ROFL.

Ngee Ann finally has a airconditional food court, which is quite rather spacious and comfortable. And I was pretty amazed by the variety of food they have there and the price is quite economical (apparently, better than the normal foodcourts out there i think- 19 stalls.) AND THERE'S WAFFLETOWN IN THE FOODCOURT! zomg.

The foodcourt is- Big.

And the ironic thing was, I bumped into Pam- and she shouted my name in a very @#*&^(^%$# loud manner. thanks Pam. Your friends were staring at me like I'm some weird person.

& seriously, SIM Foodcourt is facing a major crisis. Or rather, all canteens are facing the fierce competition, probably with the exception of Canteen ONE i guess, since it's going to be demolished soon. Makan Place is the newest attraction I guess.

So now in the library, in attempt to complete my FOUR projects, but managed to do two. And now I'm brain dead ttm.
